Chateau Tanunda signs with Crush

Château Tanunda has announced its wines will be distributed in Australia (excluding ACT) by Crush Fine Wines.
The two companies have agreed to an exclusive on-trade and independent retail distribution arrangement, effective immediately.
Château Tanunda was attracted to Crush’s “progressive, innovative and quality approach to representing the finest family owned boutique wineries”.
The company noted: “Their commitment to representing quality wine along with exceptional service is what sets Crush Wines apart and has delivered the privilege of working with over 5000 restaurants, cafes, bars, retailers and hotels throughout Australia.”
Managing Director of Crush Wines Matt Schmidt said: “Having grown up in the Barossa, I’ve always had a passion for the great wines the Barossa can produce, and Château Tanunda is a true icon of not just the Barossa, but the Australian wine industry.
“With the Château’s luxury range gaining such international recognition our team of fantastic people are really looking forward to showcasing these great wines with some of the finest restaurants and fine wine retailers in Australia.”

The single vineyard ‘Terroirs of the Barossa’ range includes Ebenezer District, and Eden Valley with and the 2016 Vintages of Ebenezer District is currently rated 96 Points by renowned critic Huon Hooke and is top the ranking 2016 Barossa Shiraz.
The new releases of the ‘Old Vine Expressions’ range will be available on October 16, including 2015 150 Year Old Vines 1858 Field Blend, 2018 150 Year Old Vines Semillon, 2015 100 Year Old Vines Shiraz, 2016 50 Year Old Vines Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Available through Crush Fine Wines. NSW, SA, QLD in October and November in VIC (Château Tanunda remains to be represented by Icon Beverage in ACT).
