Jodie O’Shea Orphanage

BaliThe Jodie O’Shea Orphanage was built in loving memory of Jodie, who was a victim of the 2002 Bali Bombings.

The orphanage opened their doors in 2005 and now house 92 children, ranging in age from 6 months to 19 years old.

Many of the children come from poverty stricken, desperate families, who did not have the resources to care for them. They were often malnourished and had learning issues and disabilities.

The harsh reality of poverty in Bali is that the children that need the most support are often the ones who are given the least.

Since being in the orphanage, the children have undergone amazing transformations and are being given the chance to live healthy and happy childhoods.

The Orphanage itself survives on around $1,000AUD per year, with 100% of those funds coming from generous donations. All of the money raised here will go not only toward food, toiletries and basic essentials, but also books, toys, vaccines and medicines.  Not to mention payment for the amazing staff who provide a loving and secure environment for the children.

The Team at Crush Fine Wines (wine distribution company) are raising funds for this amazing cause as it is very close to our Managing Director, Matt’s, heart.

Matt often visits Bali and the Orphanage, and both he and the Crush team have given personally to the orphanage.

The Team at Crush will continue to support the Jodie O’Shea Orphanage, but donations of any size would be appreciated more than can be put into words. Our only wish is to ensure these children are given the best possible chance in life to grow up and have fulfilled lives, without the threat of poverty holding them back. It would not be possible without all of your amazing donations, so a massive thank you from Matt and the entire Team at Crush.
