Great grapes should make great wine and therefore our vineyard is where we do much of our winemaking. Our vines are located in the Awatere Valley, a Marlborough sub region with its own extreme microclimate. The wines from this region can be described as having a lovely mineral backbone, fresh clean crisp and zingy acidity. These characters, when combined with riper fruit elements, has the potential to make fantastic wines. Our winemaking and viticulture philosophy is based around the concept of “balance”, and when this is achieved the result speaks for itself.
